 Before him 122 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 98 of those were killed.
 And 12 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 12 souls claim to have killed him...
 1 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
 9 killed the bastard and survived.
 2 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

This run really demonstrated the power of sheer dumb luck. Early onyx armor. Four power mods in total (my combat shotty was also powermodded). Supercharge sphere on level 14. Assault shotgun. Homing phase device to get Reaper Silver. As I was getting to about level 20 or so and getting nervous about my ammo supply, I had two levels in a row with former sergeant packs. Then I just circlestrafed the C with the powermodded double.

Don't ask why I was still lugging those tech mods around. Probably because I had no real inventory pressure thanks to wearing onyx(P).

Congrats!  indestructible armour sources are probably my favourite things to find.  I guess there's always one super unique that fits you perfectly, but armour is good for everybody.

you didn't want to attempt the bruiser brothers?  MAD is pretty helpful, and there's some OK cover too.

I'd been playing a fair few games where "sprint past 'em" was very firmly the correct plan, that's all - and I can't remember whether I'd hit CL:7 to have MAD at that point.
