He then found Hell's Armory.

On level 11 he battled through the complex.
Afterwards he witnessed the Wall.
On level 12 he found a hellish city.
There he finally commited a stupid suicide.

I thought I'd give the new difficulty levels a try. Worked out well.
As for the stupid suicide; I had 36 health, a Hell Baron in front of me, and no more health kits. I shot a barrel in the hope that it would kill him first... I don't think it did.
