refresh rate?

anybody know how to improve the refresh rate? sometimes even if im next to walls they wont be visible or it wont display the enemies on screen... sometime i cant even see myself, any tips?

Yup, if you play on Windows, play in fullscreen.

aww, because i wanted to play while chatting on msn or browsing around the internet.  but hey i played this game at my friends house on small screen and all the letters were visible, does it depend on the machine?

Depends on the system I guess... My current instalation of WinXP can't handle playing it in windowed mode at all :/

What you may try is assigning a higher priority to the process.

alright... its unplayable! i am doing cool with lots of hp and all the kickarse weapons and all i walk but i dont see any enemies, i get shot from the nowere and finally i shoot anything thats there, i cant detect enemies besides pressing F everytime i get in a room! is there anyway to make it better? i made it fullscreen but it didnt help... i really want to play this game without any graphical problems...
