2DeviationsOut's string of victories inspired me to play this game again after a few months' hiatus, and try again for Inquisitor Diamond. I didn't succeed, but I did achieve my 26th Bronze badge, so I decided that's worth recording for posterity. :D
I was forced to use my last homing phase device in the Halls of Carnage after I stupidly let myself get cornered by two Hell Knights, otherwise I might have been able to pull this one off. (I didn't even get the BFG because the lava had already overtaken it!) In the end, I realized that I wasn't going to beat the Bruiser Brothers and I just tried to make a run for it, using an envirosuit for the reduced acid damage. I didn't get very far. :|
Also, apparently, I've never been killed by a Bruiser Brother before. I didn't realize their eulogy message was "baptised." Nice! :)
