Recently I've played some `Sunrise Iron Fist`-style games and visited Halls of Carnage. There is no way to destroy doors without a weapon - I received "You have no ranged weapon" message.
I know that fists aren't a weapon technically, but I think player should be able to strike with his fists just in the air like with knives etc.

I agree that you should to 'f'ire with fists. Depending on how much needs to change to implement this, it may or may not get in 0.9.9.6.

Best you can do for now is stand there and let a former sergeant blast you in the back until the door gets destroyed.

Knife throwing doesn't help here? As long as nothing dies when you wield a knife, I think it won't count against your Sunrise Iron Fist.

I used a shotgun from one of the former sergeants. Destroying doors itself isn't a problem.

This is still an issue, what does a player on Angel of Pacifism do if they enter Halls of Carnage? Last time I did I needed to have a sargent blast the first door, wait for the lava to get past the second and get a hell knight to shoot me next to the last one. This was one of the hardest things I've done in this game and it was only on HNTR, I'd have to see it on N!.

This is all with the added bonus of walking into a pinky/caco blocking your way at the last part, which is least to say not very helpful.
HoC on AoPc is just ridiculous.

I don't see why you would even enter HoC on AoPc without a homing phase device. It's not like the BFG is all that useful to you.

I accidentally entered the mortuary on AoPc on three consecutive tries (luckily, I had a homing phase device in each case) so I understand that it can happen.
