Zuglar Mosusamkol's corpse seems responsible.

Saw a ghost on the unit list. Dead drafted. It's in the old dorms. Their name isn't in the list of dwarves that can be memorialized...?
Found Budamigath's corpse. Have no idea who or what Budamigath is. Ah, turns out Budamigath is Zuglar. After learning that the newest combat reports are on top(...): "The Zuglar Mosusamkol's corpse attacks The Dwarven Baby but She rolls away." lolwat
I have smashed the atoms of the corpses. But where did it come from? Do we have yet another vampire?
7th of Granite: Starved goat. Atom smashed. Uhh, we also have a draftee who can't stand. I'm gonna put him on civilian duty...
10th of Granite: So I think that Zuglar zombie was the child of one of the military dwarves. He's unhappy about losing a child, and one of them is named Zuglar. I went ahead and made a memorial slab to the kid in case it'll help his unhappiness.
13th of Granite: A kid just got a fey mood. Ugh, he needs logs, rock, rough gems, tanned hides, rock blocks, and plant cloth. UGH! All the stuff he needs is available according to the stocks screen. Why won't he go and get it?
17th of Granite: I guess the gems are in the blocked-off portion of the fortress. Time to mine some shit... Also, I learned tetrahedrite is not a gem.
25th of Granite: Endok Tathushrir finished making... a fungiwood piccoli....
3rd of Slate: What... Kulet just beat up a weapon smith... I think it might have something to do with that mandate for 2 helmets that never got fulfilled. Yep, just checked the justice screen. Doesn't bother him, though.
9th of Slate: Nearly naked kid throwing a tantrum in the dining room.... I'll call it a night.
11th of Slate: So he's calmed down without doing anything, but he's standing in place apparently looking to start a fist fight.
13th of Slate: Another helmet mandate.

9th of Hematite: Doo dee doo, checking the dorm, everything looks OH SHIT! N with a tilde! Nevermind, it's just a ghost.
19th of Hematite: Grrr, kobold thieves. Don't know if they snagged anything, but one was already out of the fort before I got alerted. Assuming stolen goods would show up in their inventory, nothing got stolen.
24th of Hematite: Migrants II: Migrate Harder
1st of Malachite: Oh shit, I just realized I'm a dumbass. Ramps don't work that way... So I've stranded people down in the brand new second floor of the dorms.
4th of Malachite: Built some stairs. Don't mind me, just patching up my floors.
13th of Galena: Time flies. The first floor of the dorm is a bit patchwork now, but the good news is the second floor is pretty much good to go.
17th of Galena: Human caravan arrives.
19th of Galena: Sibrek Thikututal, Peasant has taken to a fey mood. Wonderful.
1st of Limestone: Sibrek starts his construction. Caravan is still here and uncleaned; the broker chose now to go on break, and I want to buy that stuff, so I'm just going to let anybody do the trade.
3rd of Limestone: The merchants have been cleared! Took more than half a dozen stacks of quarry bush leaves roast. Now I'll wait and watch the idler count drop like a rock as everyone goes to move stuff around :)
5th of Limestone: Sibrek Thikututal has created Otad Anriz, a hematite scepter!

11th of Limestone: Whew, close call. A starved yak cow revived as soon as it got to the atom smasher.
19th of Limestone: I'm trying to atomsmash the zombies in the old dorms. One is about to go down.
6th of Sandstone: Oh shit, a ghost just killed someone.
8th of Sandstone: And a child just went melancholy...
12th of Sandstone: Some good news: around 7 or 8 zombies have had their atoms thoroughly smashed. There's still a ghost, an undead arm which I've locked in the room, and I think only one zombie left which is hiding out deep in the stairwell
3rd of Timber: Migrate with a Vengeance.
6th of Timber: Feeling gutsy, I butchered a starving foal.
9th of Timber: "Meng Kolthikut, Dwarven Child cancels Starting Fist Fight: Went insane."
17th of Timber: First alert I got, a snatcher was seen. He was in a cage trap. Then, bam! An ambush! I need time to think this out. An engineer is already out replacing the trap, so just raising the drawbridge is doom for her. I knew I should have prepared something.
18th of Timber: Seven Goblin pikemen, plus the already captured thief. Three of the gobbos also got caught in cages, the first one in banged up the engineer a bit, but she got away and that goblin got his ass kicked. Then things went down hill... Three on three. Tulon Borloncilob died leaving it 2 on 3 with one reinforcement on the way, and they are all fighting on the main bridge which is due to be lifted any frame now. Oh, and did I mention the body parts starting to litter the place?
Momuz Emalerith joins Tulon in the grave... Meanwhile Ber Kadoltolun has crawled to the depot like a coward. Solon Olinevost is about to enter the frey. I've recruited some random people with skills to hopefully help keep this from getting any more out of hand. And BAM! Drawbridge is up while the three gobbos were standing on it. HA! They're all in that pit below the drawbridge now. Hehehe, crisis averted I'd say. HEHEHE, the dead gobbo just became one of the walking dead and is beginning to kill his former companions.
Aww shit, the injured soldier outside just saw a kobold thief. Nevermind, the thief and soldier are both just wandering around aimlessly it seems.
19th of Timber: OH COME ON!!! The dwarf who dumped one of our deceased in the atom smasher fell asleep inside. Liaison and caravan.
21st of Timber: Through MY GRACE I let that damn cheese maker live after the undead corpse woke him up.
22nd of Timber: Outpost liaison is looking around the fortress for whoever... I think I'll call it a night. Short but intense.
27th of Timber: Oh man, the dwarven caravan has a total value of 125667. That'll be a lot of quarry bush leaf roast...

5th of Opal: The goblins are still fighting the occasional zombie down there. They're pretty good at killing them though. Only now there's a ton of miasma down there.
7th of Opal: Uhh, a baby just died of thirst. Not sure what's going on... Oh gosh, and I forgot to atom smash that last child corpse. And now there's a zombie baby...
9th of Opal: Crisis averted, baby killed.
11th of Opal: Now a mule corpse... Interesting, it got cage trapped. I'll just preemptively slaughter all the starving animals.
16th of Opal: Damn marvelous gem cutter is possessed. Didn't even make me go out of my way to make materials for him.

2nd of Obsidian: This new drawbridge outside isn't working right... It's not making a wall when it retracts, it's just disappearing. Aww crap, don't tell me I forgot to set a direction...

Uhh, they're just kind of standing around at the edge of the map. Maybe I'll have enough time to (re)finish my exterior drawbridge.
17th of Obsidian: Okay, what the hell? Corpses keep escaping from cages.
18th of Obsidian: That undead mule kept me from connecting the exterior drawbridge to a lever, so I just lifted the one at the depot. This siege is going to be somebody else's problem.
20th of Obsidian: Never mind about the corpses escaping from cages. That was a separate mule corpse.
23rd of Obsidian: Uhh, nevermind about that whole baron thing... I kind of forgot to give him a special room, so he went batshit and is now melancholy.

Download year 5A quick list of my accomplishments:
I added a second floor to the sleeping area. But I had to patch up the floors on the first floor...
I cleared out three caravans worth of goods. But a lot of that is still in the depot, which is now inaccessible...
I turned our fortress into a barony. But our baron is now melancholy because I left him without a room...
I survived a 7 goblin ambush. But three of them and some zombies are in the pit at the drawbridge... And I'm leaving the next person with a 14 speargoblin siege led by a hammergoblin on a giant bat...
I killed a lot of the zombies in the old dorms. But... there's actually no negative side to this one. There's a ghost, a locked up zombie arm, and one zombie still deep down in the giant staircase.
Our food supplies are still pretty good.
I have shirt and pants and shoe and sock creation on repeat because the kids really don't like having rotten clothing it seems.
The military is pretty barebones, but we have quite a few weapons and armor because of my caravan-clearing.
