MkLear takes the collar and looks at it.

"I think I'll keep it," he smiles. "As a memento."

Van Bohr carefully observes the situation.
"I suppose we are done here", he says after a while, as if nothing at all happened and this spectacular act of ganger's mercy was nothing but a work of fiction. "You shall depart to dock A3 and tell the guards I have sent you. They shall know what to do. May the Omnissiah's wisdom shine upon each single one of you and Throne preserve you so that you returned victorious. Dismissed."
The door behind you open up again, blazing light filling the shrine. For a moment you barely can see anything.

Lazerus gives Van Bohr another stare as well. Then he looks at HexaDoken and MkLear; with a nod, as if to confirm to himself that both of them look ready, he turns and starts walking towards the exit.

[HexaDoken]

HexaDoken finally stands up. Approximately one third of money dissapeared from the briefcase. It all has vanished in the depths of his bag, with exception of a single throne, which is currently located in HexaDoken's hand.

"666 thrones, damnit." - HexaDoken looks at the exit, closes the case with his leg, and slides the portfolio towards MkLear. Mercerenary then starts moving toward the exit.

[Klear]

"At least the pay is good," MkLear mutters as he takes the remaining money and, after a moment of hesitation, the briefcase as well. Then he follows the rest of the group, spinning the explosive collar on his hand.

Walking through the corridor, without looking around Lazerus starts: "About the money, I don't care about splitting it in three equal parts, since we won't be taking this cash home whichever way you look at it. I suggest we spend it on our mission, so we'll all benefit. That leads me to the following question - why us? What does each of us have to contribute to this mission?"

It seems that the collar incident has loosened his tongue somewhat - there's certainly a subtle change in his attitude to be perceived. "The only reason they would have picked me is because I'm a good shot who knows how to obtain and handle intel. What have your sins been?"

In regard to spending cash, I suggest we each go through the Armoury section of the rulebook. Although we'll never know exact prices and availability, I'm sure that in our lives up until this point we've gotten a good idea of what items that we're used to dealing with should cost and how easy they will be to get. It's rather pointless to make an item list totalling exactly 999 thrones, but you can at least take a shot at what should and should not be feasible.

"Me? It must have been my charming personality," MkLear replies. "It wouldn't be the first time it got me into trouble and this is trouble with capital T, sure as sure," he adds with a bitter smile.

"I am good at many things, but my best side is brute force. If it will come down to firefights, you can count on me."

"You're a grunt, right? What sort of outfit were you with?"

"Scouts."

"Good, we might be able to teach each other a few tricks then. Have you ever worked within a Hive environment?"

[HexaDoken]

"Not really."

[LuckyDee]

"Okay."

Lazerus pauses for a second, seeming to gather his thoughts, and then continues "Well, Mak was right about one thing: if we want to have any chance of coming out of this alive, we're going to have to rely on each other. You can count on me to give you all the information I can give you regarding our line work, but then I need to be able to count on you to do as I say when the shit hits the fan. I assume you're used to taking orders anyway..."

[HexaDoken]

"Pretty much. As said - if all else fails, just say. I'll try to take things under control my way."

[Klear]

"Wait, Mak? Is that supposed to be me? I'm sorry, but that's the weirdest shortening of my name I ever heard," MkLear chuckles. "But then again, I suppose it's not the best of names. You know what? Call me Lijah.
