HexaDoken gives Lazerus a puzzled look.

"I, honestly, doubt that this will be of any use for me. Of course, they should be costful, but it's not like I'm a primarch and can lift them with ease. Or rather, at all. Neither I have a heavy-duty crane in my pocket."

After shells are unloaded and MkLear calls us to the plane, HexaDoken smiles - "Yeah, lotsa fun.". He then takes a seat in the pod.

"Since we are intending to have fun, care to stop at a luna-park during our journey?"

Xilla gets into the pod and takes a seat, she makes sure to keep as far away from Hexadoken as possible. Then she looks at Lazerus and hisses between her teeth:"If you keep flashing that thing and wasting my precious time, I'll have to do something about it." She takes of her backpack and starts assembling her crossbow pistol.

"I'm afraid it's gonna be another kind of fun, Hex" replies MkLear, once again taking out his wooden dice. "The kind that isn't fun at all..."

As the doors of the shuttle transport close, he turns to Xilla.

"This place seems safe enough to talk openly. May I ask what exactly is your task, Xilla? Are you one of us, or are you here just to keep an eye on us? I assumed the eyes of the inquisition will be upon us, but I imagined them to be quite invisible."

Xilla looks at MkLear as she replies. However her hands keep assembling the crossbow without so much as an hesitation. "One of you....? She then looks at Hexadoken and Lazerus. "I do not even know their names" "Like I said before, I'm here to get the job done. Anyone working with me stays alive, anyone who gets in my way dies" She looks back at MkLear, the crossbow is now loaded and aimed at Lazerus head. "The question is who wants to live and who wants to die"

Lazerus calmly looks at the tip of the crossbow bolt pointed at his face, then shifts his gaze to the back of Xilla's head, waiting for her to turn it.

Despite his words, MkLear seems pleased that for once it isn't him that's being aimed at.

"Which reminds me that I forgot to introduce myself," he continues Jovially. "My name's Lijah MkLear. That guardsman over there is Hex - nice fellow, you should stop looking at him as if he was demonspawn. And the quiet one is Lazerus, though I can see you've already got to know each other a little."

"True." The grin on Xilla's face disappears, for a second there is almost sadness there. Then her face hardens again as she looks Lazerus in the eyes. "I do think the odds are better with four. But if you f*ck around again and waste my time I might change my mind." She then lowers the crossbow onto her lap.

Once you are done with arguing, the speakers crack with a loud noise.
"Brace yourself, Acolytes. Take off in five... four... three... two... one..."

Then the lander's hull starts to shake. Air becomes filled with some loud wailing only engines can make. Then...

Then you realize that the ship is left far away, getting even farther with each second. And you...

You find yourselves in a small capsule, drifting aimlessly towards Malfi.

In space, no one can hear you scream...
