 1 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

I'm now working on AoMs, on which I found myself (ironically) switching from EE->Intu to Re->Shtymn for the Shotgun's quickly accessed "warning shot".
I make it regularly to dlvl16+, but sooner or later get caught badly with an AV. So, I'm working on Shotgun strategy and would like some tips :)

As i sworn, i played game without Intuition, and with shotguns.
Now i know challenge i hate the most! It is AoP. It is just a little pity, when you are in situation like this:

One globe is supercharge, second is Large Health Globe, and third is Invincibility Globe. And i cannot take any.(( Sadistic challenge, more sadistic than AoMasochism.

Anyway, there is one funny moment that i realized: if you have Hellrunner*3, you are in coward mode, and you are moving from side to side when Cyberdemon fires at you, he have 95-100% chance to miss(don't know the exact number, but he had fired approximately 20 times at me, and all his rockets haven't hit). So on Nightmare!(tm) with carefull timing you can kill Cyberdemon with just chaingun, avoiding all his shots.

Sadistic challenge, more sadistic than AoMasochism.

Aye, I blasted an AV at zero-range with a RL and went up to ~180% health ;)
BTW, I'm playing it on UV - I thought I had exited the challenge list and entered a normal game (I'm not sure that's not a bug, but hell, shit happens), just to find myself at 28% health with useless medkits.
Good thing is, on UV you reach XPlvl5 in no time, so I had Intuition within minutes.
I'm at dlvl ~15, continuing later.
Shotgun training will have to wait a little longer :)

How often does everything else miss in this situation...? I fear resurrecting Barons and Cacos more than I do Cybie (and AVs always hit anyway... Bah).

How did you survive that scene after all?

This 0 - are not Cacodemons, but barrels)). So no monsters at all on this photo. But anyway it's a pity to see so many usefull powerups, and to cannot use them.
