I had a bit of spare time and felt like going for Shottyman Diamond. I'm heading to bed right now, but I'll write about the run tomorrow...

I've always been fond of the Shotgun in this game, so I find Angel of Shotgunnery to be one of the easier challenges. When I loaded the game up to play, yesterday, I got it on my first try! :D That's not to say it was easy, per se; I found I had more difficulty at it than I remember having the last time I played an AoSh N! game. (I guess I'm just rusty, or maybe this version is harder? Last time I did it, I used a
Shottyhead build in 0.9.9.4) Nevertheless, I had fun shredding every enemy in my path with Army of the Dead Master Trait combined with SoB. Towards the end of the game, even the toughest enemies fell from 6 or 7 shells fired at long range! :)
A few notes about this run:
I probably wouldn't have survived Hell's Arena, if not for the fact that I went in there with 6 med-packs. I was having a lot of difficulty with corpse stacking and ended up destroying most of the Cacodemon bodies by standing over them and getting the other Cacos to hit me. That strategy cost me 5 med-packs, but I made it. :)
The Tactical Armour that I assembled at the Chained Court got destroyed almost immediately afterward at the beginning of the next level by a Baron and a Commando. :( I was pretty pissed off about that, especially since I had armour shortages for pretty much the rest of the game, but the Malek's Armour that I found in the Vaults made up for that and made the endgame much easier. :)
I got two Shambler kills because he revived a few seconds after I killed him. Fortunately, I had MAD by that time, so taking him out a second time wasn't *too* strenuous, and I made sure to push him into the lava this time. :)
Funny thing: by level 14, I had two nukes, and I was itching to use them, and I remarked to myself how odd it was that I hadn't seen a single invulnerability so far, (yes, I talk to myself sometimes) :P and about two seconds after saying that, I went around a corner and saw two invulnerabilities right next to each other! I used them to nuke the Spider's Lair and the level afterward, and there was enough left over to claim the Cyberdemon's head.
I found another nuke shortly afterward, (there were a lot of nukes in this game!) and I used it to clear the Vaults. It was funny seeing the message, "You'd think there'd be an easier way to get in here!" after blowing everything to kingdom come. :)
Those 8 med-packs you see in my inventory weren't typical of this run; I went through a lot of it with only one or two med-packs and I really wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but the levels I put into TaN and Iro helped a lot and I built up my med-pack collection toward the end.
