"Dopefish Lives" appeares in countless places, and as that link above suggests, not only in ID games.
The way I see it, having Dopefish steak suggests otherwise and is contrary to that rule, but that's Phobos Hell for ya' :P
Besides, RLs are nothing if not cruel, and who said the fish should be an exception and survive? ^^
