I dont know what happened to my hells arena rocket launcher, but that's how I traditional kill the arena master and clear the wall. I probably could have won easily with the shotgun I had but I thought I might not run across a RL by the time I hit the wall....and I use it for anomaly as well. So I Intentionally suicided with the chainsaw. Man I really need to pay more attention lol.

On HNTR, even without a melee build, you can usually safely chainsaw the arena master to death. If you take out the cacos first, then pick up the saw + one berserk pack (leaving the 2nd to heal you when you're done), you have just about enough time to storm the bastard and flee back to remaining pack.

These days I find it's in good practice to start to learn how knockback with shotguns work so you can use it on those pesky hell knights/barons on higher difficulties so the Arena Master doesn't revive them.

There are these semi-rare occasions where I'll go looking for the Arena Master and turns out the bugger is either directly north or south of the starting hub. Most other times he's on the far western wall. I wish he'd make up his mind on where his happy place is.
