I have to ask what happened to your rocket launcher? (You should have gotten one as a reward for conquering Hell's Arena) Did you throw it away? I think you would have found it useful, especially in the containment area.

No, not without incident. New player and what-not -- probably not used to the mechanism for the death-blow.

Nice win. Burst builds are indeed strong, but they're strongest when they take the traits in a slightly different order.

I usually die before I get to the Cyberdemon. Also what is the recommended trait order? I'm guessing Finesse before SoB?

Oh yeah, I don't usually play on ITYTD, just wanted to win :)
But since I am so used to HNTR I used my skills learned there to smoke ITYTD. Oh and I've messed around with Angel challenges a little, definitely not good enough for them yet.

Yeah, I threw it away. I wasn't thinking about The Wall/Containment Area when I threw it away. I was just thinking about how my plasma rifle did way more damage and I wanted space for more bullets!

If I didn't have the enviroboots, I wouldn't have been able to beat the lava zone. I didn't have any suits on me nor did I know you were supposed to save any for it.
Yeah I was sad I didn't get 100% kills, but without the rocket launcher I wasn't able to kill the enemies in the Containment Area :/

I will totally watch that movie. I've never heard of it before now.
The author of the game must really love that movie to include that gun and "Gun Kata" in the game.

One word of warning, though: Enviroboots are awesome to let you move freely through liquids, that's for sure - but they also slow your movement. You'll find out soon that on higher difficulties you _will_ need all the speed you can get, so you might grab some other boots (tactical, preferably), and switch to Enviroboots only when you need too.

Yeah I noticed the -movement speed but just never thought it would be that much of a drawback. But I could definitely see how it would be bad since taking longer to move = more shots and movement the enemies get. I've never gotten those boots before and it was really awesome being able to walk right over lava!
Since I'm inexperienced I didn't realize how huge the GCB would be, until I was in Hell and still tearing stuff up with it :)

Ah, but the Containment Area only contains 24 monsters (max) on ITYTD. You missed 25...
