After the figurehead had attacked his consciousness fragment, Berak was taking another quick look at the ship, contemplating what the figurehead had said and the appearance of the ship and the figurehead, wandering whether it reminded him of something he knew.

Just as he was preparing to retreat the shard of his consciousness away from the ship, he was assaulted by the zombie he had attacked just before. That's what you get when you don't pay enough attention to the battle.

Berak manages to narrowly deflect the zombie's attack with his psionic powers. Retreating from the zombie, he breaks apart into a swarm of shards and re-forms again at the other side of the tent. He pulls the shard of his consciousness back from the boat and uses it to attack the zombie with a psychic attack, trying to finish it off.

Between Marek and Isirius one of the zombies is barely standing, while the other gets finished off by Berak, who gets shot by an arrow for his trouble. The figurehead sends another lightning bolt at Berak's shaped consciousnes but that one also goes wide.

The ship is a longboat, a type of ship that uses mostly people rowing to generate speed, but has a single sail to enhance their effects. Berak can recall some water-based barbarian tribes back in his times used those, though theirs obviously didn't fly or use lightning-shooting figureheads.

Map Notes
- River is probably quite cold
- Ice is difficult terrain. It also looks tad slippery and thin.
- Campfires are burning bright.
- Boats are difficult terrain and provide cover.
- Tents provide cover but aren't much durable.
- Totem poles could be climbed if you wish to do so.
Important Notes
* Vengeful Flare is actually 2d8+7 fire damage not 2d8+10, so 21 fire damage there. Oh and also worth noting targets of your healing word get a +2 to next attack roll (but you'd hit even without it)

Quill hopped up to the sole remaining zombie and swung her flail down, aiming to clock it square in the back, but apparently put a bit too much enthusiasm into the swing - it missed, and the flail smacked into the snow, sending up a cloud of steam.
