Trying to fulfill the requirements so I can advance past the Lieutenant rank. Already reached L15 in AoB, only thing missing now is a win with AoLt I think.

The game was pretty standard fare, though Cybie almost had me there. Heh, I didn't intend that to rhyme. Anyway, I took the Cheat-o-tastic path of EE->EE->Int->Int->Int->Hr->Hr->Hr that already brought me my first win. Used mostly Chaingun on my way to snipe the bastards from a distance, later changed to PR+RRL. In the Phobos Arena, I entered supercharged and began firing rockets at Cybie as soon as I was sure the path was clear. Didn't remember do take advantage of the Hellrunner trait by dodging though, just reloaded and fired until I was out of rockets (had about 10 when I entered). By that time I was down to 10% hp, and Cybie was almost ready to shoot again. I took a few steps back and swapped my RL for an overcharged PR I was still carrying, changed to agressive tactics and only just managed to fry him.

 Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
 Is he immortal? 1 souls claim to have killed him...
 1 killed the bastard and survived.

I'm going for Captain Rank myself but I keep dying in the AoI challenge just before I reach level 20. Guess I'll do the EE/Int/Hr path and try to keep up. ;)

Did you skip the special levels on purpose or didn't you have to opportunity?

I would have gone for the halls of carnage if I had found it, but somehow I either missed it or couldn't find it because some baddie was in the way. A BFG would have been useful, in fact that was what I was collecting the power cells for, not the PR. I would not have entered the City of Skulls though, because I had already left my SG behind.
