Well, I moved a few squares to the right and then started firing rockets. JC started summoning, and barons started dying, but this was when I noticed I wasn't getting any xp for killing them, so it seemed almost pointless to do (as JC could resummon them faster than I could kill them). I only continued because of the splash damage to JC.

Then I switched to my plasma and emptied it, but this seemed pointless as well because JC responded by firing rockets from out of sight, which hit really hard, so switched to LS, used a medkit and rushed him, pretty easy to dodge his rockets, got hit by one at close range which damaged us both and then he was taking spear damage. I didn't berserk, but he died shortly after, I noticed he has melee damage and speed that rivals the AoD so I used another medkit up close.

I think there were 48 Barons of Hell behind JC, but our melee battle was over before any of them reached us (I wanted to kill them too, but it seems impossible at JC's resummon rate).


In a previous game, I've killed Cyberdemon in 2 hits with LS (started level in Berserk mode and rushed him). I'm wondering if anyone has managed to kill CD in 1 attack that wasn't a nuke? (maybe with LS?)

Oh, and apart from that, I've not really found the LS (well LS armor bonus) that overpowered. At least as an AoLt melee character, normal armour didn't seem to last long, so you spend a lot of time with wrecked or no armor as a melee character. Although I did manage to keep all my medkits until JC. (I'm now Cacodemon rank, so just AoI next for Captain)
