Here's another person who thought the grace period was a feature, not a bug. If it was 'fixed' and I started getting unavoidably instakilled when dropped onto a floor I would be... unhappy.

Hard to picture firefly in roguelike form. I guess it would be kind of like prospector or something? It would need to have some kind of party system, systems for combat and exploration on space and land, randomized missions, planets and cities... would be a ridiculous amount of work to get done right. It's obviously up to you but I would be wary of committing to a project of such a scope with so many other irons in the fire.

Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!

1 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.
Fireangel + focused double shotty is pretty damn awesome. This victory marred somewhat by playing with the shambler bug a bit hoping for a nano pack for a plasmatic shotgun. Still, I don't consider it to be too cheat-y since I spent a metric fuckton of shells on each one and 2/3 of the major rewards were schematics. I YAAM'd every level except for the hellgate which I skipped completely. Kind of regretful but whatever. City of skulls was quite easy but used up a lot of shells, there was a scary point in hell where I was down to 80 shells left or something, but a few sergeants + arch-viles later I was back in the game. Used one of the CoS rewards to completely destroy the mortuary in a manner that I can only describe as absurd.
Someday I will fulfill my dream of playing a fireangel build with a plasmatic double shotgun. Maybe on AoSh N! which I am trying out next. Must admit I am a bit worried that fireangel will not be nearly as effective with the nightmare speed boost but we'll see. I can always take extra finesse + hellrunner later on to compensate.

You probably fired a rocket down the center hallway at some point and blew it up as it will get destroyed with one blast.
Try doing the armory using only chaingun, plasma, or combat shotty and you'll always find the lever
Just recently I was playing a shotgunnery game and the lever never showed up. There was no chance of me blowing anything up and all the enemies were shooting right to left.

Yes waiting for .1 second intervals would be extremely overpowered. It would be nice to have something that waited longer intervals however.
In response to the absurdity of moving being faster than standing in place, perhaps the wait action could wait exactly as long as it would take to move, in which case the extended wait command would wait in those intervals instead.

Bug Reports / Cannot cock plasmatic combat shotgun

Was forced to plasmify combat shotty instead of double shotty because I couldn't find an unmodded double shotty in time. Was horrified to discover that attempting to pump a new round resulted in 'This weapon cannot be manually reloaded'. The only way to fire again was to actually move somewhere. This bug ended up killing me in the end. Please crush it with prejudice thanks.
edit - seems like this is probably an issue with nano-modded combat shotties in general, not specifically plasmatic.
