Aw. A pity. I was hoping that the Spider Mastermind would finally be there.

So what? This is supposed to be difficult, guys. And, considering, it shouldn't have to appear backed up by Arachs. It could very well be all by itself like Cybie.

Spider's Lair is already difficult enough with the Arachno buffs and the pathetic rewards :|

It would require a very big overhaul, indeed. But it could be done... In a future version. For now, I guess we'll just have to endure the buffed Arachs.

But if, in a future version, the Spider's Lair was more rewarding...

I would imagine that Spider Mastermind > Cybs, so wouldn't he be better suited for say, level 50 of Ao100? :P

Technically, the Spider Mastermind is *not* stronger than Cybie. Cybie fires rockets. The spider, buffed minigun rounds. The disadvantage Cybie had in Doom and Doom 2 is that his rockets weren't as fast as the spider's bullets, and thus, they could be dodged better. But close and personal, Cybie will give the Spider Mastermind a run for his money. Like in Doom 2 stage "Gotcha!", where you can get them to fight each other if you manage to interpose between them and get away a second before they fire at you.

Eitherway, in the actual doom series you will have much more trouble killing Spidey then Cybie unless you know the BFG trick.
Spidey's super chaingun is like 2 - 5 times stronger then the normal chaingun. If you have no where to hide, you're a dead man. Atleast you can dodge Cybie, but not Spidey. The damage is no joke either.

Just cause Spidey has a lower HP, doesn't mean Spidey is easier.

You'd have something like a (1d12)*12 or (2d6)*12 spitting 200 health 4 armour tank. With a 0.7s Firetime and a 0.5 movespeed.

I concur with the idea of Spidey making an appearance in Ao100. Level 50 does sound like a good place for him.
