Ira walks cautiously into the room; weapon raised and trained on where the now-dead guard was standing, looking a bit sick at the implication; "...dead..."
Turning about to face the group once more, "What do we do now?"

"Keepin' up with our quest, maybe ?", responded Mad, stepping into the room and snuffing the smoke from the gun's barrel. "Everyone's well enough ?"

[Gargulec]

'Okay, I screwed' admitted Viggo reluctantly. 'Can't deny that.'

He then approached the damaged servo-mech and shot it to head to disable it for good.

'But that fact does not mean that there is something wrong with my plan' he added, glaring at his squad. 'Nor that it has changed. You know your tasks.'

[Xander Morhaime]

The servomech's "head" exploded in a rather spectacular shower of sparks. It made no further attempts to move after that.

The compound was still rather quiet as well - no alarms sounding that you could hear, at least.

"Alright then," Roshal grumbled as he caught up with them.  "Let's go Matt.  And for goodness sake, think before you spring into action next time.  I want to get this done and over with pronto."

"And Viggo, try not to be a damn hero.  You're not young anymore."

[Silhar]

"This had to be a long long time ago...", sneered Matt to Roshal, keeping up with former MilOps soldier and reloading his pistol with another clip. "Sorry, I've forgotten about the damned camera. Never more. Let's just keep going."

[Natiliana]

After rechecking her weapon for the third time, Ira faced the group; "Which way now?..." she asked, looking rather distant.
"Because... I kinda forgot..." she continues, dropping her voice to a mumbled whisper, "Stupid girl..."

[Gargulec]

Viggo approached the officer's corpse, and checked if he had anything useful on him. Before, however, he have waited unitil the camera turned from his direction, and then quickly ran to the machine's dead zone and then shot it.

[Silhar]

" 's okay, Ira, stop drooling with venom on yourself. Just proceed with the damned thing, I wanna return to my sewer already. And, perhaps, so do you.", smirked Mad, then turned on his heel and moved back through the corridor he came from. "Come on, Roshal."

The camera exploded in a rather fancy shower of sparks as it was shot.

Before Viggo could get at the officer's remains, the door on the east wall, the one closer to where you had entered the room, opened, and two more guards rushed out, followed closely by another servomech. The standard shouts of "Freeze!" and "Drop your weapons!" soon followed as they took aim at you. The servomech also produced a weapon from its main body compartment.

You might recall the last guard trying to alert someone in the neighbouring room by shooting at the door. Anyways, initiative order:

Following her sense of self-preservation, Ira hurled herself at the closest available cover; attempting to cover herself with a burst of fire directed at the guards.

[Xander Morhaime]

The nearest cover in this case was behind the frame of the door the squad had entered through. The burst of fire was surprisingly accurate, however, hitting one of the guards dead on in the chest. He let out a cry of pain and seemed barely able to remain standing.

[Silhar]

Hearing gunshots, Matt dashed forward, attempting to hide behind the frame of door he came through before. Running, he raised his gun, turned and soaked the newcomers with lead.
"Great. Why won't we simply kill them all before accomplishing our task ?", he murmured, pulling the trigger and firing a short burst.

[thelaptop]

"You telling me?  I haven't the foggiest clue!"  Roshal said as he dived next to Matt and fired his pistol at the guards.

"Even my worst mission was better than this!"

[Gargulec]

Immediately upon seeing the guards, Viggo fell prone, shooting closest SecOp afterwards.
