Josie carefully dragges the nightstand from the wall. If it's not underneath or behind it, she checks under the bed.

[LuckyDee]

As soon as you move the nightstand, the rat shoots out from beneath it, passes under the bed and ducks underneath the closet next to the door.

[Esther]

Josie gets on her hands and knees and looks underneath the closet to see if the rat is still there or if there might be hole.

[LuckyDee]

It's too dark to see anything. If you listen carefully, you can hear its little nails clicking on the floor every now and then, as if it's pacing around, looking for a way out.

[Klear]

   Hugo waits for Josie to emerge back out of the room, weighted uncomfortably by the awkward silence. Eventually he decides to break it.
   "I guess... maybe the bed isn't made, or something? Our Josie is very punctual when it comes to these things. You have to excuse her."
   He coughs nervously and continues.
   "So you've been able to make a deal with Albert after all, I see?

[Esther]

Frustrated by her lack of progress, Josie desides to get some help. She gets up and opens the door to the hallway a tiny bit, making sure her body is blocking mr. Clocks view and the rats exit. She gestures To Hugo that there's a rat in the room and that she needs his help.

[Klear]

  "Excuse me for a moment," says Hugo, puts the bag on the floor and follows Josie inside, where he sees the reason for the commotion. "Oh great."
   He moves towards the rat and tries to catch it into his bare, clumsy hands.

In the silence after the door was slammed shut, Jonathan stands around, indecisive. Upon Hugo's remark about Josie's punctuality, he looks up to the tall man with a look of complete incredulity on his face - almost as if he's about to start vocalizing his disbelief in a loud and above all hysterical tone of voice. After a few laden seconds he manages to regain his composure - possibly with some effort - and answers Hugo's question: "Er... yes... well, in fact... there's something I forgot. Seeing as the room isn't ready anyway, I'll just slip back downstairs," upon which he promptly pivots around makes his way back to the stairs.

Back in the room, of course, it turns out that catching a rat with bare hands, especially in a room full of little nooks and crannies, is easier said than done...

[Esther]

Josie hands Hugo a rolled up blanket and gestures to Hugo that he should block the rats exit from under the closet at the side of the door. Since the back and the other side are blocked by a wall, the only way out for the rat is at the front. Lying down on her belly Josie slowly craws towards the closet and then a bit underneath. Listening and reacting to every move the rat makes. Making sure her body is blocking the rats exit. Because of her gift her eyes get used to the dark quick and can see better than the average person. She is not letting this black thing get away again!

Making your body as big as you can, you're able to block your side of the space below the closet as well. You can see the little bugger sitting in the back corner, obviously not having a good time. You can't reach it over there though; your arms are too short and your head won't fit underneath the closet. You could switch sides with Hugo to fix that problem, but then you wouldn't be able to seal your side as depth and width trade places.

[Klear]

   Hugo blocks the rat's route as per Josie's suggestion, looking concerned a bit.
   "Careful there. A cornered rat can be downright vicious. Let me..."
   He drops carefully to his knees to attempt to reach for the rat, moving slightly out of his blocking position. Then he thinks better of it and stands up again.
   "Be quick now, Josie", he warns, and lifts the closet into the air as quickly as he can, exposing the rat.

You manage to lift closet off of the ground and hold it there - but for how long?

Without even blinking Josie jumps like a cat underneath the closet. She does not seem to care about getting hurt by the rat. Focused only on grabbing it as quick as possible, she throws herself on it with two hands streched out in front of her. As quick as she jumped under, she then rolles out from underneath the closet again. Hopefully holding the rat between her fingers????
