In the silence after the door was slammed shut, Jonathan stands around, indecisive. Upon Hugo's remark about Josie's punctuality, he looks up to the tall man with a look of complete incredulity on his face - almost as if he's about to start vocalizing his disbelief in a loud and above all hysterical tone of voice. After a few laden seconds he manages to regain his composure - possibly with some effort - and answers Hugo's question: "Er... yes... well, in fact... there's something I forgot. Seeing as the room isn't ready anyway, I'll just slip back downstairs," upon which he promptly pivots around makes his way back to the stairs.
Back in the room, of course, it turns out that catching a rat with bare hands, especially in a room full of little nooks and crannies, is easier said than done...
