Amazing as always! I tried this build on AoCo, it was lots of fun, and is actually effective against Medusae (all my other recent attempts were ended by these guys). You got me another Platinum, thanks!

In the equipment screen, when using RT to select weapons to reorder, the pop-up showing the assignment of the weapons to the current buttons appears behind the equipment screen, making it impossible to see and thus re-assign.

Suggested solution: make the pop-up from RT be modal and have priority over all other screens.

I'd been trying this build on this challenge a few times now without success but now I finally did it! Not only my Lightfoot Gold earner and my first Assassinate win but also my first Scout win as any build other than Gun Kata!

I actually passed up or ended up ditching a lot of nice guns (JAC SMG, Storm SMG, Nail Gun, AV3 Sustain Rocket Launcher and 3 different Bio Launchers) because it seemed a lot better to focus on melee fully and not take up space with ammo here. Grenades and more healing seemed like a better use of my inventory.

Skill-wise I knew from experience that while Dodgemaster 1 is a good idea, 2 and 3 would be a waste. After that Skilled 1 (2 would be redundant, I had Silent and I don't think it stacks) and then Energy Leech 3 (wonderful synergy with Assassinate Level 3 and Silent - if you start with 30 Energy then you can Stealth and Assassinate twice and get most of that Energy back!). Dash 2 and 3 didn't do much here given I wasn't often running around un-stealthed with enemies around but I couldn't think of better uses for the perk points.

The Demonic Sword was actually pretty awesome here, doing great damage and a bit of welcome healing! Much better when your build is fully compatible with it unlike Blademaster.

Only didn't get 100% kills because I left Beyond L1 early due to getting confused by the teleporter sigil this time.

Well, jump from medium to hard was kind of hard for me. After multiple fails, including couple of promising runs that I lost due to my tunnel vision, I decided to do it a bit differently. I usually decide in advance what kind of playstyle will I use, but this time I choose it depending on the guns my enemies dropped on the first level (sniper rifle and smg), while also making myself armor. This proved good decision because the first armor I would have found otherwise was on Europ Ruins 2. Inbetween I had a 7,62 smg made in the next manufacturing station I found, so there was no problem with ammo. 
There was a big problem with lack of healing items, I was on the edge all the way to Infernal Lock, where I fond a vampiric mod, which a happily slapped on my trusty sniper rifle, the murder healing greatly reducing the demand for healing items, allowing me to build up a bit of a reserve. The few grenades that I found at the start were a real lifesavers, before the traits really kicked in, but I reckon i kind of overdid their hoarding later on, when I started really splattering the enemies with the rifle. Still, there were some close calls before the end, but I finally made it through.

So I thought I'd try out the latest beta release candidate to test out the new "medusa" enemy, and I played at Ultraviolence to ensure that I'd survive long enough to encounter them...  though I still played Angel of New York Reload, because I didn't want it too easy.  :P

My build was based around trying to make the most of my inability to reload, so lots of hacking to help get mechanical enemies, (later getting Wizard) grenadier, and toxicologist.  (The late game involved lots of poisoning enemies with my free poison smoke screen)  :)  The neat thing about hacking enemies is that the hacked enemies still dropped weapons when they died, so any time I was able to bring an entourage of bots between levels, I was effectively carrying in an extra pile of weapons.  :)

I went up against the Summoner with a railgun, a super nailgun, and an army of six sentries, all with overhealth.  I didn't even need to use the Golden Gun I started with.  I always brought it along just in case, but I actually managed to go the whole game without firing it once.  (I wonder if there should be an achievement for that)  :P

My first Platinum, and achieved Major rank.

Only having 4 inventory slots made heading towards Blademaster seem like a good idea. Since Blademaster doesnt kick in until level 8, I went for Hacker L2 and Remote Hack for the first upgrades. Many tough fights were won with the help of friendly turrets and short lived friendly bots (this was useful for a LOT of the game).

While heading towards blademaster, I avoided melee, and played as a sniper while searching for Katanas. A .44 rifle was my weapon of choice for most of the early game, eventually upgrading to a very nice cold modded AV3 .44 hunter rifle. If I got an enemy at a good range, the Freeze meant they could usually not close the distance before dying. I played sniper style until I had Blademaster and two AV2 katanas, then switched to combo sniper/melee. Once the melee traits were all maxed, I switched to full melee all the way to the end. Blademaster is amazing fun when it gets going!

I almost got Conqueror, but chickened out of Limbo, since it was not needed for the Platinum, and I was so close to the end after so many previous failed attempts.

This was a weird one, all through the run I was getting conflicting ideas on equipment and mods. Mostly I was trying to focus on Semi-Autos and Shotguns, which seemed to work well with Angry Motherfucker.

I accidentally delayed Suvivor L1 because I took Whizkid when I should've taken Tough as Nails. Whoops!

I guess playstyle that goes with Scout Sniper agrees the most with me. Getting a hunting rifle for long range work and smg for close up was not difficult and .44 ammo was not an issue past the first few levels. I could handle multiple close call by either going invisible or using a poison grenade, the accurate and resilient/armored exalted opponent being the biggest reason why I was low on healing items through most of Callisto. There was Manofacturing station Mk. II on Mimir Habitat 2 and decided I'll have Marine armor AV2, but pressed helmet instead. Oh well, it served me to the end, but at that moment I'd kick my own ass if the chair was not in the way.

CalSec rewarded me with Jackhammer and a nice hunting rifle which served me until Tyre outpost, where I made myself a really nice sniper rifle. Thus with my mighty gun and traits kicking in, every monster got a ticket on the pain train. I don't think I saw this many single shot kills and splattered ravagers since playing on easy. There were multiple close calls though, especially towards the end when I was encountering 8-10 strong packs of enemies and on couple of occasions I got so carried away splattering the enemy after enemy, that I completely forgot to monitor my health and noticed only at the last moment that I needed healing or GTFO via CRI phase kit.

As the title says, I manged to bum rush through this challenge on the first try!

I did have some close calls regarding my health mostly, and sometimes my ammo but I managed to scrape through regardless!

I was informed that Gun Kata was the natural choice between how your inventory will naturally be full of ammo and the sheer dodge saving you healing later on, it definitely seemed to work out that way.

I was mostly on my usual track with SoG 2 and Gunslinger 2, Hoarder, Hellrunner and GUn Kata 1 on time but the nice drops pushed me into early Hoarder and particular finding an early JAC SMG had me thinking about Scavenger so I held the point until Valhalla Command and finding a Deagle there settled the issue... Unfortunately for all the 9mm I turned into .44, I could still tell dual-wielding the Deagle and JAC full-time wouldn't be sustainable, thankfully I quickly found a 7.62 SMG and pairing one of those with the Deagle, keeping 7.62 and Scavenging the rest into .44 worked a treat. I kept holding onto the JAC regardless but it was mostly a 7.62 SMG in Slot 1 (I went through four: a baseline, then an AV2, then a Freezing AV3 and finally the Disruptive CRI I ended with) and a Deagle in Slot 2 (I replaced the first one when I found a Deadly one in CRI Armory).

Every time I came across a Health Station I chose to increase my max HP, due to a lack of Multitools to use it properly for other purposes. I think I ended with 120 max Health! I also had particular mod-priorities for everything according to the WK0 limits I had: Auto-calibrating most weapons to use up the spare terminal charge and if they still had a slot then Calibrated was the first choice. Headgear wanted Danger Monitor and if AV traits permitted Health Monitor, Armor wanted Swift mostly.

I got some nice gear, since Dig Zone was available I went there (was thinking Biolabs if it wasn't there) and since I already had Infiltration Armor, I built a Combat Helmet there that ended up with Sealed, which was welcome but i would still end up ditching it for the Blast Helmet seen below since that seemed like it would be more helpful.

CRI Labs was a tricky choice, I wasn't sure how well I would do there but since Black Site didn't show up and I had 3 Keycards I felt like I had to... The fact Gun Kata would really enjoy the CRI Armor tipped me other the edge. While I had some really gnarly health scares in the preceding levels of the branch, CRI Armory wasn't that bad and I got a good share of my endgame gear there so I feel confident in my choice actually!

Aside from that, I'm kinda surprised at the number of grenades I hoarded, I guess since MGK really doesn't want to stop moving and has such intense offensive force I didn't think to use them that often. Still don't really regret it per se, but something I'll keep in mind for higher difficulties would be to think of throwing my 'nades more if I've got them.
