europa L5, S481, U difficulty - 8 monsters left, terminal says there is a vault, but no way to access it

i should say im on a lower end pc and have to turn settings down to 720 for levels to run normally around 20 fps - europa ruins 1 was dropping to like 6 or 7 fps, and was severely lagging with keystrokes

U difficulty, 0.9.7b, seed 6303, massive performance drops on europa ruins 1, to the point where the game becomes borderline unplayable, and on europa ruins 2, inaccessible room with enemies in it was generated

nice run, i love the tech pistol build too, really have to play around with scout more especially now ti seems like it had its traits overhauled

interesting, i'll have to try out this build, was mostly spinning my wheels with the 0.9.4 marine going for this. extra kudos for taking on valhalla on melee

this build is a lot of fun especially when it gets going with the poison cloud. are you limited to three bots following you per level?

i guess i forgot to gib a ravager... collecting all the goodies and running to the exit as fast as possible to have a respawned one appear right in my face and blast me before i get to react.... whoops

right - JH demands a more active playstyle, though camping is still useful in certain situations (melee builds, areas with fiends/reavers, the hunt). lack of gift dropping also makes camping less useful than in DRL

incredible run, i have yet to complete this challenge on any difficulty

my N! mortems also had the same issues you've mentioned

this somehow gave me full kills anyways... i did the calsec shutdown before all the sentries in the trap got triggered, maybe thats way?

AoSh H difficulty seed 7328 - mimir l1 - looks like there is an area in the upper right hand corner that spawned thats totally inaccessible from the rest of the level that has three monsters in it which appear on the minimap

very nice run, those exalted reavers are run killers in standard difficulty too, i always underestimate how hard they can hit

thanks! this one was a little RNG dependent but the challenge comes early enough where its not too bad to go at it multiple times

second attempt at this run - first time the only useful item near the archreaver spawn point was a full heal, but unfortunately got mobbed by unlucky spawns. this time i got a nice revolver that i carried to the end, and was able to hide behind a pillar and stave off all the archies, fortunately nothing respawned so when they were dead i was out of the level

cri laboratories was kind of a pushover here, i didnt encounter any keycards before the level, so i only had the one from the boss cri bot, and got lucky to open the healing room, which at that point was the only thing really useful as all my gear was more or less maxed out. plasma pistols are certainly far less useful in N! than UV, but are decent enough for picking off turrets to save a bit of ammo here and there

this got quite intense at points! i had started playing N! with angel of carnage, which is quite easy during callisto, but becomes much harder during europa as launchers don't deal quite enough damage to gib bigger enemies like ravagers, so i thought i'd try a sharpshooter build. this is harder to get started but once you get going you're pretty hard to stop. JS revolver is enough to blow apart exalteds, and its certainly satisfying to watch those big chunks go everywhere. one of the main problems with io in normal difficulties - namely the cri steals a lot of your experience by infighting, its partially resolved here, as they rarely have enough power to gib enemies. exalted soldiers that spawn from dead cri marine corpses are much easier to deal with than the regular monsters - same goes with much of the exalted reavers that spawn from archreavers, due to the lack of annoying acid attack
